What is Merrifold?: Merrifold helps you create a beautiful invitation, gather RSVPs, share the day, and offer a gentle gift list — without turning a celebration into a spreadsheet.
Do guests need an account?: No. Guests can open your link, RSVP, and reserve a gift idea without signing up. Hosts sign in with a magic link (or Google) to create and manage events.
How do RSVPs work?: You publish an event, share the link, and guests reply yes / no / maybe. You can set capacity, a plus-one cap, a waitlist, and a deadline. Closing RSVPs or cancelling the event stops new replies.
Are gift reservations private?: Yes. Hosts see availability counts only — never who reserved an item or what budget they set. That “invisible budget” rule is enforced in the database, not just the UI.
What does Premium unlock?: Premium covers paid invitation templates, per-event unlocks, and extras such as dress-code outfit guidance samples. Free hosting tools (RSVPs, event page, gift list) stay available without Premium.
What happens if I delete my account?: When you delete your account we sign you out, anonymise your personal details, and archive your events so guest RSVPs are preserved. You have 30 days to change your mind — sign back in and you can restore it. After that we permanently remove the account, though you’re always welcome to start fresh with the same email later. Contact privacy@merrifold.com if you need help.
Where do replies to invitation emails go?: By default, guest replies go to your account email. On each event you can choose “no reply address”, which falls back to hello@merrifold.com. There is no private relay yet.
